Burnouts From Outer Space (acoustic) @ 33 May 8 (by Andrew Proctor)
Video and recap by Andrew "Doc" Proctor
Edited by Bobby Crash
Burnouts From Outer Space is one of my favorite New London bands. Their sound is both rock and psychedelic, a combo of the Doors and Guns & Roses. They took a long break, but Mr. Bobby Crash brought it all back when he took the band acoustic at 33 Golden Street last night. Crash is known for haunting lyrics of life experiences, and rocking fun songs such as "Ms. Brown." Last night he broke it down with Pete Berarra and Matt Gouette on guitar and played a fun, haunting set.
You can purchase a copy of the Burn Outs single here http://burnoutsfromouterspace.bandcamp.com/track/pair-of-dice, and look for the full band and more acoustic sets this summer.
The Burnouts have also been nominated for a Whalie Award! They are up for Best Alternative Band, and you can vote for Burnouts From Outer Space right here: http://wailingcity.com/vote
