UPDATED April 25, 2012

A big thank you to all of you that have donated money to help Steve and Charlene. It means a lot to them, and to us! Steve from The Reducers still has a very tough road ahead of him but he is deeply grateful for everyone’s generosity and support. It’s now been five months since Steve’s been able to work and the bills continue to pile up while he continues to fight his disease. If you haven’t already done so, please consider helping out and donate via the Paypal link below.

There is also a benefit show for Steve in the planning for Friday, June 15th at the Hygienic Art Park featuring the Rivergods, Dogbite, Ken Atkins & the Honky Tonk Kind, Original Sinners in addition to other special guests! Mark your calendars, save the date and plan on being there! It’ll be a fun night of great music and all the money raised will go to Steve and Charlene to help ease their financial situation/burden/worries.

And in a remarkable display of solidarity from the other side of the world, there will be a benefit for Steve taking place in Tokyo! On Saturday, June 2nd our friends Firestarter, Raydios, Rockbottom and the Gimmies will perform at the Shimokitazawa Three club with all profits donated to help Steve! Great friends, great bands, and another night of great music for a good cause. We thank everyone involved in advance for thinking of us.

Lastly, thanks to everyone involved with the Good Sponge showcase/CD release party that took place at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Barn on March 31st. A good percentage of that night’s profits from the door and the bar were donated to the fund for Steve and Charlene. It all adds up and every donation will help. We’ll be in touch and we look forward to seeing everyone again.
