It's
time to announce the nominees for the 2nd annual Whalie Awards, which
will take place on Saturday, May 21st, 2011 at the Hygienic Art Park.
Categories will be posted within the next 24 hours!
If you are a
local musician, you may want to show up to this and see if you are
nominated for anything. With over 5 new categories added this year, we
will definitely see a new crop of artists getting nominated.
Who will be nominated for Album of the Year? Breakthrough Artist of the Year? Song of the Year?
Fittingly,
we, WailingCity.com, will once again host online voting for "the
people's choice" categories, and will relaunch our newly designed website
on this very night - which is also the first night of voting! Voting
will go live on the website as soon as the nominees are announced at The
Oasis.
We can't wait to unleash version 2.0! Lots of new features! Stay tuned to this article for updates on Whalie Awards voting and our relaunch!
